1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using FichaPet, or by using the fichapet.app website, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not agree, do not use the App or the website. The App and website are operated by NASCIMENTO SOFTWARE DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROGRAMAS LTDA.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms and the applicable App Store or Google Play terms.
3. Veterinary disclaimer
FichaPet is an organizational and record-keeping tool only. It is not a veterinary medical device and does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow a qualified veterinarian's guidance for decisions about your pet's health. Do not rely on the App for emergencies.
4. Subscriptions
FichaPet may offer a free tier and a paid FichaPet Pro subscription billed by the App Store or Google Play. Pro renews automatically through your store account unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your store account settings. Purchase validation confirms subscription status only and does not grant us access to your pet health records.
5. User responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for maintaining backups you may need (including optional JSON export), and for securing your device to protect information stored in the App.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use the App for any unlawful purpose, store data on behalf of others without appropriate authority or consent, attempt to reverse engineer any portion of the App, or interfere with the App's normal operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nascimento Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or website, or from loss of data.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Brazil.
