The routine runs on memory, and memory is shared badly
Two people in the house, one bowl, and the same question every evening: did anyone feed him? The routine is simple. What fails is that it lives in everyone's head at once and nowhere anybody can check.
FichaPet turns the day into a short list you tick off as you go. What is done is visible, so nothing gets done twice and nothing gets skipped because someone assumed.
A checklist suggested by species, with a target per task
The default list is water, food, the walk and affection, plus the litter box for cats. Each task carries its own daily target, so food twice a day is two boxes and not one. One tap marks, one tap takes it back.
With FichaPet Pro you rebuild the list: turn off what does not apply, rename tasks, change the target, reorder them, and add your own, such as brushing or the monthly bath. Pro also puts a daily reminder on the task you keep forgetting. Ticking care off is free and stays free.
A streak that rewards showing up, not perfection
A day joins the streak at sixty percent, so a day that got away from you does not erase the ones before it. Today never breaks the count either: the break is only counted once the day ends unfinished.
Each finished day is frozen with the target it had at the time, so adding a task next month never rewrites the days you already earned. Fourteen badges build on top of that, from care days and streaks to walks, vaccines, treatments, visits and weigh-ins.
The walk is part of the day, with what actually happened
The walk sits on the checklist like any other task, and logging one records how long it lasted, pee, poop, and whether they came back tired. Every walk stays in its own history.
The clinical side did not go anywhere either: visits, vaccines, treatments, symptoms, weights and heat cycles sit on one timeline, a tap below the day, on the free tier.
