Only the extra pets need a decision, and the app asks you which one stays before anything is removed.

What is the daily checklist?
The tasks your pet needs today: water, food, the walk, affection, and the litter box for cats. FichaPet suggests them by species, each with its own target for the day, and you tick them off as you go. Checking care off is free and stays free.
How does the streak work?
A day counts towards the streak once you complete sixty percent of it, so an ordinary busy day does not wipe out the sequence. Today never breaks it either: the streak only drops when a day ends unfinished. Each day is frozen when it ends, so changing the checklist later never rewrites days you already earned.
Can I change the tasks on the checklist?
Yes, with Pro. You turn off the tasks that do not fit, rename them, change the daily target, reorder the list, and add your own, such as brushing or the monthly bath. If the subscription ends, your checklist stays exactly as you left it: what stops is editing.
Does FichaPet sync to the cloud?
No. Records stay on your phone unless you export a backup file yourself. There is no FichaPet server holding your pet's routine or history.
Do you provide a list of medications or vaccines?
No, you type the name freely. Brands and vaccine names differ by country, so a fixed catalogue would be wrong for most people. Symptoms are the exception: Pro keeps the names you type as a catalogue you can edit and reuse, because those are yours and repeat.
How do reminders work without an account?
Everything is scheduled by the phone itself, with no server in the middle. On the free plan an appointment reminder arrives a day ahead, and the birthday one lands on the day itself. Dose alerts for vaccines and treatments come with Pro, and you choose whether they arrive on the due date or up to a week before. Pro also lets you put a daily reminder on a checklist task.

The free plan keeps one pet with the daily checklist, the progress of the day, the streak, the badges, the daily tip, walks, the month agenda, and the whole record on one timeline: visits, vaccines, treatments, symptoms, weight and heat cycles, plus appointment and birthday reminders and the backup file. Can I show the history to my veterinarian?
Yes. Pro builds a record out of what you logged: care that is overdue, vaccines and treatments with their status, recurring symptoms, and the visit history. You pick which visits and which fields go in, then share the file at the appointment.
What happens when I change phones?
Export a backup file from the old phone and import it on the new one. The checklist, the walks and the days you already earned travel with it. Automatic iCloud backup is planned for iOS.
Is FichaPet available in other languages?
Yes. The app and this site are in English, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish.
Is FichaPet on both Android and iPhone?
Yes. FichaPet is on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android, and the record works the same on either.
Do I need a card to start?
No. The free tier asks for no card and no account: you install the app and start ticking off the day. Pro is an optional subscription through the stores.
Is there a free trial, and what does Pro cost?
Pro opens with a free trial, and you are only charged if you keep it past the end. After that you pick monthly or yearly, and yearly works out cheaper per month. The App Store and Google Play show both prices in your own currency before you confirm anything, and you cancel from your store account.
What happens if I stop paying for Pro?
Nothing you wrote is deleted. Visits, vaccines, treatments, photos and album pictures stay on the phone, and the checklist you customized keeps the shape you gave it: what locks is editing it. The Pro screens close, and the extra pets are the only thing that needs a decision, so the app asks which pet stays before anything is removed.
Does it work for pets other than dogs and cats?
Yes. A pet can be a dog, a cat, a bird, a rabbit, a reptile, or something else, and the record works the same for all of them: visits, vaccines, treatments, weight, symptoms and the daily checklist. Only the suggested tasks follow the species, which is why the litter box shows up for cats.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. Day-to-day use is offline, and reminders are scheduled by the phone itself, so no connection is needed for them either.
Do I have to enter everything at once?
No. Tick off today, and add the older records whenever you have the dates at hand.
Is FichaPet a substitute for veterinary advice?
No. FichaPet organizes routine, records and reminders. Always follow your veterinarian for anything medical.
