Pet records that never leave your phone

Your pet's whole health file, kept on your phone

Vet visits, vaccines, treatments, and symptoms in one timeline, with a nudge before every due date. Nothing leaves the device: no account, no cloud, no server of ours holding your pet's history.

Why this app exists

Pet care is not hard. Remembering it is.

None of this is about being a careless owner. It is about information living in four places at once.

  1. The vaccination booklet goes missing

It lives in a drawer, a glovebox, or the bottom of a bag, never in your hand when the vet asks for the date of the last booster.

  2. The flea dose slips a week

A 30-day cadence runs on memory alone. By the time you remember, the cycle has already drifted, and so has the next one.

  3. The history ends up in a chat thread

Prescription photos, voice notes from the clinic, and receipts pile up across three apps. In an emergency, nobody finds anything.

Features

One file per pet. Everything filed under it.

Log it once and FichaPet does the arithmetic: what comes next, what is late, and what happened last time.

One timeline, not four apps

Visits, vaccines, treatments, and symptoms land in a single chronological feed: what is coming up, and everything already behind you.

Cadence that counts itself

Pick an interval from 7 days to a year. FichaPet works out the next due date, flags what is overdue, and can notify you beforehand.

A profile for every pet

Species, breed, weight, and photo per animal, with one tap to switch between them.

  • Symptom diary

Log what you noticed, how intense it was, and when. Patterns show up before the appointment does.

  • Vets and visit types

Keep track of who saw your pet and why, with your own visit types.

  • Photos on records

Attach the prescription, the lab result, or the rash you want to show the vet next week.

  • JSON backup

Export a file that belongs to you and import it on a new phone whenever you decide to.

Inside the app

It opens on what needs you today

The home screen is not a dashboard to interpret. It is a short answer to one question: is anyone overdue?

  • Overdue vaccines and doses sit at the top, with the number of days already lost.
  • Reminders are fired by your own phone, so they work with the device offline.
  • Tap the overdue card to log a dose right there, no digging through menus.

The month ahead

And on what is coming next

Care has a rhythm: doses, boosters, checkups. The month agenda shows that rhythm as a shape instead of a list you have to read.

  • Marked days show at a glance where the month gets busy.
  • Tap a day to see the visits and doses that fall on it.
  • Insights turn months of records into visit counts, vaccination status, and your pet's most frequent symptoms.

Privacy

We designed ourselves out of the picture

The safest place for your pet's health data is a place we cannot reach. That is not a policy promise. It is how the app is built.

Records live in a local database

Pets, visits, vaccines, treatments, and symptoms are stored on the phone. We never receive them.

No account, no email

Install the app and start. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.

A backup you control

Export a JSON file, keep it wherever you keep your own files, and import it on a new phone when you choose.

A paper notebook never asked you to create an account, never synced with anyone, and never sold what you wrote in it. FichaPet is a notebook that can do arithmetic.

Why the app stays on your phone

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

If yours is not here, write to us: a person answers.

Does FichaPet sync to the cloud?

No. Records stay on your phone unless you export a backup file yourself. There is no FichaPet server holding your pet's history.

Do you provide a list of medications or vaccines?

No, you type the name freely. Brands and vaccine names differ by country, so a fixed catalogue would be wrong for most people.

How do reminders work without an account?

When you log a vaccine or treatment you pick how often it repeats. The app calculates the next due date and schedules a local notification on the device itself, with no server involved.

What happens when I change phones?

Export a JSON backup from the old phone and import it on the new one. Automatic iCloud backup is planned for iOS.

Which languages are supported?

The app and this site are in English, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Latin America).

Is FichaPet a substitute for veterinary advice?

No. FichaPet organizes records and reminders. Always follow your veterinarian for anything medical.
