1. Introduction
NASCIMENTO SOFTWARE DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROGRAMAS LTDA ("Nascimento Software", "we", "us") operates the FichaPet mobile application (the "App") and the marketing website at fichapet.app. This privacy policy describes how we handle information in connection with the App and the website.
2. Data collection
FichaPet is designed as an offline application. Pet profiles, vet visits, vaccines, treatments, symptoms, notes, photos you attach, and related care records entered into the App are stored on your device. Day-to-day use does not require a FichaPet account and does not sync pet health content to FichaPet-operated cloud servers. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your pet health records as part of normal App use. You may optionally export or import a backup file you control; that file is not uploaded to FichaPet servers.
3. Analytics and diagnostics
We may receive anonymized or aggregated crash and performance diagnostics through the App Store and Google Play to improve stability. Those platform reports are technical in nature and are not a copy of your pet health records. The marketing website may use privacy-focused analytics without cookies to measure traffic. Website analytics do not include pet health data from the App.
4. Third-party services
The App does not integrate with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers that would process your pet health records. Subscription status for FichaPet Pro is handled through the App Store or Google Play and related purchase validation (for example RevenueCat). That flow covers subscription and billing status only and does not include pet health content. Optional operating-system services you choose later (such as iCloud backup on iOS, when available) are governed by the provider's terms and remain under your control.
5. Data security
Your data is stored locally on your device and protected by the device's native encryption and security mechanisms. We recommend enabling a device passcode or biometric lock. The App may request photo library access so you can attach images to visits or vaccines; those images stay on your device unless you export a backup yourself. Optional app lock uses your device's biometric authentication or passcode through the operating system's secure APIs. The App does not access or store your biometric templates.
6. Children's privacy
FichaPet is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will note changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
8. Data retention and deletion
Because pet health records live on your device, you control retention. You can delete records in the App or remove everything by uninstalling it. Since FichaPet does not host your pet health content on company servers for day-to-day use, uninstalling the App removes that information from the device. Store subscription records remain subject to Apple or Google account policies.
